Shani
- Shani as the Wardrobe with new Dollface
- The Wardrobe- hair and costume fabric is the same as the original costume!
- Shani’s face, just prior to baking, sans hair
Laura
- This doll can quick-change from a fork to a plate to a napkin, like Laura does in the show!
- Laura and her Dollface
- “You’re so funny.” “No, you are!”
- Smile, Laura!
- the plate and little gold heels
Irene the Rockstar
- Performance-ready, mic in hand
- It was such fun drawing her impressive tattoos in miniature.
- These boots…I’m dead. I had the BEST time making a mini version. I love my job.
James
- James as Cogsworth, his Dollface- very timely fellows
- Jealousy issues, James?
Ben
- Ben, who plays ‘Scrooge’ in Walnut Street Theater’s production of “A Christmas Carol”. This is the face, prior to completion…
- …and his finished doll!
- The tiny watch is removable from the breast pocket
- This is how all the doll parts look, before they’re baked in the oven to harden
Michael and Kara
- Michael, who formerly played “Lumiere”
- This doll was exceptionally fun to make, as his candles plugged into a battery pack in his back that actually lights them up!
- Lumiere’s wig
- In real life, Michael (“Lumiere”,) is married to Kara (former “Baker’s Wife” on tour,) and their good friends commissioned the dolls as wedding gifts!
- Lumiere can’t keep his eyes off his beautiful wife 🙂
- …I played the Baker’s Wife on tour after Kara, so we shared the same costume!
Jessica
- Jessica as “Babette” the feather duster, sporting her brand new Dollface
- Back view- as always the hat, feathers, fabrics, and sculpey were crafted to exactly replicate Babette’s costume
- Feathered LaDuca heels, naturally in a perfect bevel! Secret: the fishnets are actually a hair net!
Corey
- Corey the props master, whose doll has a detachable Superman cape!
- And custom sneakers replicating Corey’s
Andrew
- Andrew, who performs a Renaissance show at Disneyland
- A few fun detachable costume pieces
Diana
- Diana requested that I use one of her old uniforms and make it into the mini version, which I happily did. She is a flight attendant with 37 years’ experience. The necklace pendants, watch, and wings are exact replicas on the standard and mini people; on the doll they are only about 1/4″ tall!
- Voila! Off to ship Diana her new doll…skippity skip skip
Ryan
- This handsome devil will be immortalized in his soccer uniform. No doubt he’s a winner!
- ready to meet his owner, ball in hand. The socks, shoes and emblem on the jersey were all personalized. (so were his freckles!)
